Pet surrenders & re-homing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Animals Benefit Club does NOT accept pet surrenders.<\/strong> Here is a list of resources provided by Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (MCACC)<\/a> to learn about your options and possible alternative solutions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emergency stray services & reporting animal abuse cases <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Contact AZ Humane EAMT<\/a> at 602.997.7585 Ext. 2073 to request an ambulance for a sick or injured stray animal in the valley, an animal in distress or if you suspect an animal is being abused or neglected. For abuse cases, you may also fill out their online form<\/a>. Services are free and available daily from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You may bring sick and injured stray pets to the AZ Humane Sunnyslope Campus<\/a>, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you find a stray<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Immediately:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Check for a pet ID tag and attempt to contact owners<\/li>
  2. If the stray is wearing a current Maricopa County license tag, call 602-506-PETS (7387) and follow the prompts to retrieve the owner’s information<\/li>
  3. No tags? Visit the nearest vet office or PetSmart for a free microchip scan<\/li>
  4. Report the found pet online at Maricopa County Animal Care & Control<\/a><\/li>
  5. Submit the found pet at Lost Dogs Arizona<\/a><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Take as many of the following actions as you can:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
