Mama and puppies rescued
This beautiful mama dog was living on a chain, exposed to the elements on the San Carlos Reservation in southeastern Arizona. She had a litter of pups in the FREEZING COLD in mid-November 2020. ABC responded to the urgent plea to rescue this precious family and placed them into a foster home.
Now available to adopt!
The litter happens to fit their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle counterparts perfectly! These adorable, sweet fur babies will be 8 weeks old on January 22 and ready to adopt. While they look like dogs, they still act very much like puppies. Puppies require a huge commitment of time and energy – socialization, enrichment, training, etc. Sadly, many puppies are abandoned around 8-18 months old. Please make an informed decision! If you are ready to commit the next 15+ years to raising a puppy, please submit an adoption questionnaire for pre-adoption.

Leonardo
Leo is an intelligent and adventurous leader and is quite the charming, happy puppy! He enjoys an equal balance of quality time with his person and play time with his siblings. He loves to explore and find hidden “treasures”, usually something random and something he is NOT supposed to have, but still quite proud nonetheless!
Michelangelo
Mikey is an all-around goofball. He loves to chase the mop, run around carrying things that are 3 times his size, and loves belly rubs and snacks. Pretty much exactly the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle he was named after.
Raphael
Raph can be a bit of a loner. He is often found wandering off on his own, but always finds his way back to his brother, Mikey. He is a very sweet boy and loves belly rubs.
Casey Jones
Casey is quite feisty and very intelligent! He has been the first to do everything… open his eyes, growl, bark, walk, play, etc. He could totally be a hockey player. Ideally, he would be adopted with his sister, April (they play very well together) or to a family with an older puppy that can keep up with him.
April O’Neil
April is the cutest little girl ever! She loves to be cuddled, held and loved on, but can be a little firecracker when it comes time to play. She is the smallest of the litter, but don’t tell her that! Ideally, she would be adopted either with her brother, Casey (they play very well together) or to a family with an older puppy that can keep up with her.
