Hi, my name is Paulina. I’m three years old, and I’ve been through a lot in my short life. My family used me to breed puppies and sell them for profit. When they were done with me, they didn’t care what happened—I was surrendered to the County shelter, where I was scheduled to be put to sleep.
I didn’t understand what I had done wrong, and I was so sad. I missed my puppies terribly, and I didn’t know what the future held.
But then, just two hours before they were going to end my life, a kind volunteer from ABC showed up to rescue me! I was overjoyed. She brought me straight to a wonderful foster family who fed me nutritious food and showered me with love. I loved them right back, and now, they’ve made me part of their family! I finally have a warm, safe, forever home—but many more animals like me still need help.
