When you adopt a cat from ABC, you help two cats!
Not only do you help the cat joining your family, but also the newly rescued cat in it’s spot. The placement of our animals is a detailed process as we strive to ensure they are a good match with their prospective family. If you’re interested in adopting, please read our adoption process. Listed ages are approximate in most cases.
Abby | Black DSH
Female | dob 01.01.97
Abby is a beautiful, petite little girl with the most adorable “cooing” meow. She’s very talkative and affectionate, and loves to curl up in a sunny spot of the house to nap. Abby came to ABC when her person passed away and would do fine with other cats or as a solo girl. Abby is currently in a foster home. If you’re interested in adopting this sweet girl please email your completed adoption questionnaire.
Adiva | Russian Blue Mix DSH
Female | dob 04.01.15
Adiva watches new people for a moment before she decides to walk over and soak up attention. She is a young mother who was abandoned with her two babies, Lily and Jackson. Adiva is a relaxed, quite gal who loves to soak up attention when she’s comfortable with you. She would love to find a home with either Jackson or Lily.
Andrina | Brown & White Tabby DSH

Sweet Andrina was abandoned with her sisters. All of these beautiful girls are very friendly and love to play and snuggle. Andrina can often be spotted snuggling with her sister Arista.
Arista | Calico DSH
Female | dob 10.20.15
Sweet Arista was abandoned with her sisters. All of these beautiful girls are very friendly and love to play and snuggle. When Arista isn’t busy playing, she can often be spotted snuggling with her sister Andrina.
Ash | Silver Tabby DSH
Male | dob January 2016
We are amazed that we got such good pictures of Ash. He LOVES attention and can’t get close enough to you…or the camera. He even sat on our shoulders during the “photo shoot”. Ash is an energetic guy who exudes love. He will need a home where there is a lot of activity and another confident cat to play with. Ash is currently living with Paladin and Pepper and having a great time, but he can be a bit too playful for shy cats. A bit of “baby proofing” will be required with this guy – he has a habit of eating strings and chewing on cellphone charging cords!
Bluebell | Gray DLH
Female | dob August 2015
Bluebell is a gentle feline who really opens up to a soft spoken person. She will softly “hold” a conversation with you and prefers being petted and brushed, rather than playing with toys. Bluebell will do best in a calm, quiet home with someone that she can call all her very own. She was a bit shy when she came to ABC, so one of our teen volunteers starting reading to her. She loves the extended attention and excels in cuddling as close as she can whenever you want to read a book! She would like to be the only cat in the household.
Bella | Gray & White DSH
Female | dob 06.01.10
Sadly, Bella came to ABC when her person became too ill to care for her. This beautiful girl loves to nap and play. Bella would probably do best as the only cat in her forever home
Bouncer | White & Chocolate DSH
Male | dob 12.01.07
Handsome Bouncer is part of the ABC feline welcoming committee. He’s a bright young man who loves people and gets along with all of his cat friends. Bouncer and his friend Romeo lost their home when his person became too ill to care for them.
Charlotte | White & Black DLH
Female | dob 03.10.10
Charlotte is a beautiful girl who loves playtime, entertaining, and nap time, though not necessarily in that order. She enjoys spending time with her friends MJ (adopted) and Tabitha. Her easy-going attitude is sure to make her a great fit with any family.
Faith | Siamese mix
Female | dob August 2015
Faith is a flame point Siamese mix with the prettiest (and slightly crossed) blue eyes. She is a very sweet mama who got her name because of her unwavering faithfulness to find her babies, Bubbles, Tarzan & Tiger Lily (all three adopted). Her babies were abandoned in a parking lot and the following day we found Faith on the roof looking for them. She was elated to be reunited with her kittens, but now she’s ready to find her forever home! Faith is as sweet as they come. She has a quiet and loving personality and is easy going.
Gideon | Gray Tabby DSH
Male | dob 07.01.03
Gorgeous Gideon is a member of the welcoming committee, and makes himself known with his charming, chirpy meow. He is sweet as can be and enjoys snuggling in laps. Gideon is a wonderful member of the ABC cat family, but would prefer to be the only cat in his forever home.
Gretchen | Calico DSH
Female | dob April 2015
Gretchen means “pearl” in German. She is a sweet girl, this little pearl. Her and her three kittens, Mila, Mina and Maude (both adopted), all came to ABC after being in foster care. Gretchen is extremely shy, but she knows there’s a forever family just for her!
Jackson | Russian Blue Mix DSH
Male | dob 04.01.16
Jovial Jackson is light-hearted, easy going, and ready to dole out affection once he gets to know you. He was abandoned with his sister, Lily, and their very young mother, Adiva. He loves to dive in boxes and chase that ever elusive laser light! Jackson is neutered and ready to adopt his human.
Jasmine | Gray DSH
Female | dob 01.01.12
Beautiful Jasmine is a very affectionate girl who meows softly for attention. Unfortunately, she arrived at ABC after her previous family could no longer care for her.
Lily | Russian Blue Mix DSH
Female | dob 04.01.16
Petite Lily was abandoned with her brother, Jackson, and their very young mother, Adiva. Those sweet little eyes of hers are just longing for a person whom she can trust, but fear keeps her at a distance, only peeking at people from a safe hiding spot. All the staff and volunteers at ABC are working with this little cutie. Lily’s ideal adopter would also adopt either her mother or brother because she is very attached to them.
AVAILABLE TO PRE-ADOPT: Mila | Calico DSH
Female | dob October 2016
Mila means “loved one” in German. She is so cute how could she not be loved? Her and her sisters, Maude and Mina (both adopted), and mom Gretchen, all came to ABC after being in foster care. She is a very friendly, relaxed kitten. Mila likes to play, but what she really LOVES is to be held, and she shows her appreciation by purring up a storm. Mila would like to be an only cat or would need a slow introduction to an existing cat. Please submit an adoption questionnaire to be considered for pre-adoption.
Paladin | Black DSH
Male | dob 06.01.13
Paladin is a bright, extraordinary gentleman who enjoys playtime, napping, and being held, but not necessarily in that order. This kind young man enjoys spending time with people of all ages.
Pepper | Maine Coon Mix DLH
Male | dob 06.01.13
We just looked up “cool” in the dictionary and found a photo of Pepper! He is an affectionate and curious guy who loves to be held and brushed. Pepper also enjoys playtime, but is always a gentleman and never scratches in an effort to secure a toy.
Prudence | Black DSH
Female | dob 05.01.16
Prudence is a beautiful little kitten who is the shyest of all her siblings. She was abandoned with her entire family. Her mother Lucy, dad Jude, and siblings have all been adopted. Prudence waits for her sister to check out a new toy before joining in. Prudence would do best in a calm home where she can find her confidence.
Romeo | Orange Tabby DSH
Male | dob 12.01.06
Romeo is a friendly young man who’s content to snuggle up and snooze the day away. It’s very easy to keep track of Romeo – as soon as he sees a person, his loud, friendly purr quickly reveals his location. Romeo and his friend Bouncer lost their home when his person became too ill to care for them.
Rose | Gray DSH
Female | dob 08.01.02
Rose was returned to ABC, along with her adopted sister Ebony (adopted!), when their person could no longer care for them. Rose is a shy, quiet girl with exotic yellow eyes and super soft fur. When she’s in a home, she opens up into a confident, playful, talkative friend who revels in snuggles.
Sassy | Black & White DSH
Female | dob 06.01.09
Beautiful Sassy was born on the streets and rescued by a volunteer. Sassy was very skittish when she arrived, but thanks to the ongoing socialization efforts of ABC’s volunteers and caregivers, she has really opened up to all of her human friends.
Shalimar | Tortie DLH
Female | dob May 2005
Shalimar is a fantastically sweet senior who is a laid back lady. She resides in the ABC cat community and is a member of the welcoming committee. Shalimar enjoys the company of other cats, as long as they aren’t too energetic. She would also do fine as a solo cat, but either way, she would love nothing more than to curl up in a lap and snuggle the day away. Shalimar’s luxurious, long hair requires regular brushing to keep her beautiful and free from mats.
Simon | Orange Tabby DSH
Male | dob 10.01.07
This handsome, energetic boy loves to drop and roll in your lap, rubbing his cheeks all over your shoes while you rub his belly. Simon is playful and enjoys romping with the other cats, especially his brother Theodore (adopted!), and his great pal Sinatra. Toss a ball across the room and watch him light up with enthusiasm!
Sinatra | White Tabby DSH
Male | dob 03.01.07
Our little Sinatra – ol’ blue eyes – is a gorgeous young man. A kind human soul rescued Sinatra and his brothers from the streets. While he’s on the quiet side and can be a tiny bit shy at first, once he gets to know new people he’s super friendly and sweet. Sinatra is a true blue friend, through and through. You may find him playing with his pal Simon.
Squirrel | Gray Tabby DMH
Female | dob 6.01.15
A kind lady rescued Squirrel from the hot streets of Phoenix and named her Squirrel because of the way she hopped around. Not only was Squirrel homeless and practically a baby herself, but she was also pregnant. Squirrel gave birth to three babies, Mitzi, Moose, and Tigger (all adopted) at ABC, who are also available for adoption. Squirrel was a patient and loving mother, but she is ready for a home of her own.
Stan | Snowshoe/Siamese Mix SH
Male | dob March 2016
Stan is simply a stunner – inside and out! It’s hard to tell by the pictures, but Stan is one tall kitty. Unfortunately he was left behind when his family moved. Stan is still getting to know the ABC cats, but he really has an interest in hanging out with dogs. He followed a family and their dog when he was begging to be rescued. This gentle giant is looking for a forever home where he will be part of the family.
SugarBaby | Black DSH
Female | dob 10.01.14
SugarBaby was abandoned with her mother, SugarMama. SugarBaby can be a little bit reserved when meeting new people for the first time, but she warms up very quickly and is an affectionate, playful, purring little girl.
SugarMama | Tuxedo DSH
Female | dob 03.01.14
SugarMama was abandoned with her daughter, SugarBaby. Beautiful SugarMama adores people and loves attention. This talkative sweetheart is often found carrying on lengthy conversations with her human friends.
Tabitha | Gray Tabby DSH
Female | dob 03.15.10
Beautiful Tabitha and her sister MJ arrived with Zeke. She tends to be on the quiet side and still a bit shy around people, but once she spots a toy, she happily shows off her super spunky side. We’ve posted a short clip of Tabitha being silly on our videos page.
Zeke | Gray Tabby DSH
Male | dob 03.15.10
Handsome Zeke and his sisters MJ and Tabitha arrived together. Zeke is the shy guy of the bunch, and enjoys hanging out with other cats, sunbathing, and napping. Our modest Zeke is the strong silent type; he doesn’t go fishing for compliments, but he receives them all day long from his legions of human friends.
